Recently, Facebook has removed the Reviews tab from application profile pages.
According to Facebook,
We’ve found that the best way to encourage conversation and feedback is through posts and comments on your Wall, so we’re removing the Reviews and Discussions tabs for now. We’re working on tools to help you moderate, filter and manage content in one powerful place. Stay tuned.
You won’t be able to access your reviews and discussions once they’re removed, so please save this content if you’d like to keep it for future reference.
On place pages with a location, fans can still write a recommendation for their friends or others from the right-column that says Recommendations.
Frankly speaking, I am not aware of this arrangement until someone ask me and I therefore confirmed this with the team. How about you?
For me, the Reviews tab is a great place for my app users to give review and comments on using my app. It is in fact too bad Facebook does not take the rating on the Reviews tab as a measurement in user feedback. Sometimes, I really get puzzled when I was informed by Facebook that my app received strong negative user feedback while I am getting more than 10K +ve reviews with an average rating on 4.8 (out of 5).
