Top Events in 2010 Related to Virtualization and Facebook Development

What is the top events happened in 2010 that were related to Virtualization and Facebook Development?

For me, my pick of events are:

  • The Release of VirtualBox v3.2 and v4.0
I know this may not be the biggest event in the world of virtualization. But with the release of VB v3.2 and V4.0, setup of Mac OS X is really easy and simple! And now,  I can run Mac OS X inside my Windows box… and even to dev iPhone app within the virtual machine!
  • The Release of Graph API in the Facebook Platform
It presents a simple, consistent view of the Facebook social graph, uniformly representing objects in the graph (e.g., people, photos, events, and pages) and the connections between them (e.g., friend relationships, shared content, and photo tags).
Yes, there are still problems (e.g. some of the features data available via the Old REST API is not yet supported in Graph API)… but for sure, this is the way to go (at least up to this moment)

What’s your pick? Let’s share….
